The most significant feature of this new site design is the expanded top 100 blog list plus a new feature that lets blog owners post content directly to the site.
In addition Authority Ranks for blogs are now more focused on recent data within the last month considering several factors including posting frequency, context, linking behavior, and other inputs.
Another big thing about Technorati right now is the fact that it was ranked as the no.5 social media property in September by comScore. Technorati is joined by other social media sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Blogger, and WordPress in the top 5 social media property for September.
This is definitely a big boost especially if you are used to be the top blog directory/aggregators and you’re struggling to stay relevant and useful for bloggers and blog readers/searchers.
