Google Outsourcing Copywriting to India?
Looks like SEO practicioners, blog network owners, and general web publishers are not the only entrepreneurs taking advantage of the lower waged and well educated Indian content producers, as Google has also joined the information outsourcing advocacy.
Philipp Lenssen covers on Google Blogoscoped : Google is looking for writers in India to take part in the “Google Wordmasters Challenge†on September 30th. You can win prizes and get a chance to meet the Google team
More from the Google India announcement :
If you have a clear, concise style and can use words to inform and persuade consumers, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for exceptional individuals to join the Google team in India, and we’re organising a contest – the Google Wordmasters Challenge – to find and reward India’s best writers. The contest will be judged by a panel of respected professional writers.
Besides a chance to meet the Google team, winners and runners-up will receive cool awards. Think you have what it takes? Take the Google Wordmasters Challenge. Register now by filling out the form to the left.
And hurry. The contest is open only to the first 300 participants, so the sooner you enter, the better. The deadline for entries is 25th September 2006.
Persuasive & concise writing? Perhaps Google may be planning to outsource their AdWords ads copywriting for preferred advertisers out to Indian contractors.
