The Google Mobile Blog has just announced that the Search Options which Google recently introduced to its web search service is now available for the mobile web. The Mobile Search Options is now active for U.S. users with either an Android and Palm WebOS phones and the iPhone.
Like the desktop version, the Mobile Search Options is a pretty useful tool for drilling down to specific search results that you get when using Google’s mobile search engine.
Search options allow you to filter your search results to various categories such as Forum posts which can even be further narrowed down to specific date range.
If you’re using any of the mentioned mobile phones, you can try out the mobile search options by just pointing your phone’s browser to Google.com. You can see the Search Option toggle link at the upper right-hand corner of your phone’s screen.
