Google App on Android Will Save Searches if Connection Fails

Google App on Android Will Save Searches if Connection Fails

Google has updated its Android app to benefit those who may find themselves running into spotty internet connections from time to time. If a search fails due to a poor connection, Google will automatically return the results as soon as a connection is established again.

In addition, search results will be saved as soon as they are returned. So if your connection fails immediately after conducting a search, you can at least browse through the SERPs and find a page to visit later.

”… the next time you lose service, feel free to queue up your searches, put your phone away and carry on with your day. The Google app will work behind-the-scenes to detect when a connection is available again and deliver your search results once completed.”

Google assures this update will have minimal, if any, impact on battery life and data usage.
