The Classmates SEO Manager will manage and coordinate the SEO efforts. The successful candidate will be able to drive strategy, offer recommendations, and assist in the deployment of projects, including site and data analysis as required. He or she will track key performance indicators from internal and external monitors to improve site positioning/ranking/indexing and customization.
The ideal candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Web technology, SEO techniques, and online marketing. Additionally, the SEO Manager will be called upon to perform or oversee SEO copywriting and technical writing. The candidate will be required to coordinate SEO activities with external agencies, as needed. Excellent computer, Internet, and SEO skills and techniques are hallmarks of a successful candidate. The SEO Manager must be able to perform each essential duty of the job and accept special projects as assigned.

The TechWeb Online Network is seeking an editorial SEO Manager who can develop and implement SEO best practices to help accelerate the already rapid growth of our network of technology web sites.
- The SEO editorial manager will function as a liaison between the editorial and marketing teams and our software development organization.
- Develop programs to optimize organic SEO positioning for our editorial content, as well as search engine marketing programs on behalf of our marketing organization.
- Work collaboratively with our IT organization on execution of all such programs, while reporting proactively on their performance.
- Act as our group’s in-house expert on Google spiders and search algorithms and will advise editors on SEO publishing best practices, as well as other ways to maximize their sites’ visibility through third-party linking strategies.
