RocketInfo Partners with Canadian Press, Helps Nascar
Rocketinfo Inc., news search engine announced yesterday that it has formed a key reseller alliance with the Canadian Press (CP), one of the top-rated multimedia news agencies in the world. CP plans to expand their media monitoring services by offering clients access to the full 11,000 source Rocketinfo database, plus the content generated by CP.
“Our clients depend on us for keeping up with breaking news stories and receiving unbiased, timely reporting on events in Canada,” said Dwayne Desaulniers, Canadian Press’ Vice President of Business Development. “This alliance will allow us to provide our clients with the most comprehensive business intelligence and information available. Rocketinfo has an enormous worldwide database and powerful content search and delivery tools.”
“CP is the single most authoritative source for news in Canada and has established itself as an invaluable partner,” said Darren DeJean, Director, Business Development, for Rocketinfo. “This alliance validates the quality of our software and we are proud to include CP as a strategic value-added reseller of our technologies.”
NASCAR joins the fold
The agreement will also enable CP to offer the full range of Rocketinfo business and competitive intelligence solutions as well as news trackers. In fact, NASCAR is already benefiting from the new partnership. Rocketinfo and CP have developed a tracker solution that enables visitors to the NASCAR.com website to read the latest news on their favorite drivers and teams.
“NASCAR fans expect to come to the official site to read breaking news about their favorite driver,” said Scott Bailey, VP/GM, NASCAR.COM. “Working with Rocketinfo and CP enables us to deliver on this promise and allows us to provide fans with rich content that is highly personalized.”
