Search Engine Journal’s 2005 Search Engine Blogs Awards
The Search Engine Journal is proud to announce that we are now taking nominations for the First Annual Best of Search Engine Blogs Competition. Search Engine Journal will be hosting a competition for the best search engine blogs, as decided upon by our readers. Nominations begin today and will end on Friday December 9th.
After Friday the 9th, Search Engine Journal will then review the Best of Search Engine Blogs Awards nominations and issue an online ballot which will let our readers vote for their favorite SEO blogs, SEM blogs, Search Engine Run Blogs (Google Blog, Yahoo Search Blog), Search Engine Employee Blog, Search Engine Community Blogs and Search Engine News Blogs. Voting will be held for one week, until December 15th.
The results of the 2005 First Annual Best of Search Engine Awards will be published on the Search Engine Journal. The competition is not meant to be a definition of winners or losers in the ‘Searchosphere’, but more of a showcase of search engine blogs and extra exposure for reader favorites. We’ve received very positive feedback from our SEJ Blogroll and feel that as a member of the search blog community, we can use a bit of competitive flavoring to help shine the spotlight on our peers.
As the host of the contest, the Search Engine Journal is forfeiting itself from the competition. Winners will be announced on December 17th and the reader favorites search blogs will be showcased in individual posts here on SEJ.
