After I learned more about Generation Z at the Ford Digital Summit at NAIAS, I was really interested about learning more about the social media, search, and overall online behavior of Generation Z’ers, which are generally known as anyone currently under the age of 21.
I thought it’d be fun to ask my two cousins, who are 16 and 19 (right in that sweet range of Generation Z), what their thoughts were on how brands use social media, what social media sites they like using, and how they conduct research online when they are looking to buy something.
In this episode of Marketing Nerds, we cover:
- What social media sites and apps Generation Z uses most
- How high school and college students search when they want to buy
- When do social media networks become “uncool”?
