Work.com Job Search Engine Launched by Business.com
Business.com has launched Work.com (talk about great domain name buying tactics) which claimes to be the only job search engine dedicated to directly connecting job seekers with premium employers. Work.com is Business.com’s latest offering and provides a customizable interface that gives job seekers the ability to refine and filter job results with one click, and then apply for jobs directly on the employer’s career site instead of applying through the job boards.
“At Work.com we are committed to a quality versus quantity approach to job search,” said Amos Schwartzfarb, vice president and general manager of Work.com. “Recognizing the enormous shortcomings with current job search providers, Work.com has built a site that prioritizes the needs of job seekers who want to cut through the clutter and junk to quickly locate opportunities with top-tier employers.”
From the release : “Created by professionals from the search and employment industries who recognized that career-minded professionals like themselves were underserved by the job search industry, Work.com provides direct access to job opportunities on leading corporate career sites from a single source. Unlike job boards that feature only paid postings, Work.com crawls corporate career sites and targets all relevant job listings based on criteria set by the job seeker.”
