Yahoo Travel, FareChase, and APIs
Yahoo just announced the general availability of FareChase:
Yahoo! FareChase (which is now in general availability) is a travel search engine that searches across many airline sites like AA.com, hotel sites like Sheraton.com, and on-line travel agency websites such as Orbitz.com and Cheaptickets.com, to give searchers a comprehensive set of prices and availability for flights and hotel rooms that is available on the web.
In addition to FareChase, Yahoo also released a Trip Planner beta and APIs that allow you to access trips for your own applications. You can create up to 100 trips and Yahoo has integrated many community type features into trip planner that should make it very easy to share your trips with friends and family.
